Humdrum is excited to announce that our Chief Technology Officer, William (Liam) Oliver, has been selected to join the National Disability Insurance Agency's (NDIA) Digital Community of Interest (DCI).

The DCI is a group of NDIS participants, providers, and tech experts who work together to improve the digital experience for everyone involved in the NDIS. They provide feedback and ideas to the NDIA on how to make their online tools and services better and easier to use.

Liam's inclusion in the DCI reflects Humdrum's continued commitment to using technology to improve the NDIS landscape; raising the bar for NDIS businesses and orginsations to better serve participants and workers!

How Humdrum Aims to Contribute

Through our involvement in the DCI, Humdrum hopes to:

  • Raise digital standards across the provider sector: We want to share our expertise and advocate for the adoption of best practices in areas like data security, online accessibility, and user experience. We also want to ensure better levels of digital and NDIS compliance! No More Dodginess!
  • Represent the interests of participants: We'll work to ensure that the NDIA's digital tools are designed with the needs of participants in mind! These systems need to work for YOU!
  • Drive innovation: We'll contribute to the development of new and innovative digital solutions that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the NDIS and those connected to it.

Have feedback for the DCI?

We want to hear from you! If you have any suggestions or feedback regarding the NDIS digital experience, please send an email to info@humdrum.au and address it to Liam with "DCI" in the subject line. Your input will help us represent the needs and interests of the NDIS community effectively.

Stay tuned for updates on our work with the DCI and our ongoing efforts to leverage technology for the betterment of the NDIS.‍
